Logos
Logo design is perhaps my favorite kind of design to do. The simplicity it requires makes it a challenge. This is a selection of my favorites.
To my mind, there is no more fundamental a skillset for a graphic artist than logo design. Simple is not easy, but it's nearly always more effective.
Logos are all about economy. Through a logo, you must convey all the personality of a brand in one small bite. That's why I love logo design so much. Becuase it's not easy.
My Daily Logo Design Challenge logos were a serious exercise in style adaptibility. Each day, you recieve an email prompt, then you design a logo per the specifications therein. Undertaking and completing that challenge taught me lessons about features of design programs like Adobe Illustrator that I still use nearly every day.
