Book Covers
We all judge books by their covers, and that makes them interesting design challenges! Most of these cover designs are for my mentor/professor-turned-author, Bill Van Patten.
Book cover and layout design are types of design that I enjoy, but don't often get the chance to do. In a world where consumers can scroll through endless pages of book listings on platforms like Amazon or local library apps, cover designs need to stand out.
My most ambitious layout design project was my happiness journal, which was a personal project that continues to this day. I write a happy moment from each day for a year. Then, at the end of the year, I publish the journal as a hardcover copy via Lulu.com.
